Merry Christmas!
As this calendar year comes to a close, we want to say thank you for faithfully giving to this ministry over 2016!
There are so many amazing stories of life change that we have all gotten to play a part in because of the power of partnering together. God, the Creator of the universe, invites us into an intimate personal relationship that transforms our hearts and minds and then says come along with me and lets spread the good news so others become part of the family as well.
I love our family of Fearless Followers! We are growing together and actively working to expand God’s Kingdom. We “get to” to be participants with God in what he is doing all around us. At Ridge Point, we continue to be focused on providing a vibrant weekend experience that welcomes guests into the family, connects people in relationships, and provides opportunities to grow spiritually. In our adult and student Life Groups, our desire is that we are a family of Christ followers living on mission together in our city, region, and world.
As we live this out, our vision is to replicate that in other people and places. This year, 18% of our budget is being spent specifically to grow eight young leaders for ministry and to help plant two churches, Cultivate and Third Coast. Together, we are aggressively moving as the Holy Spirit leads. This is at times uncomfortable because we don’t always get to see the full path in front of us. However, this is often what it means to follow Jesus. One faithful step at a time!
Prior to this year we have been praying, listening, and planning for how God would have our faith community live out the Great Commission (Matthew 28). In the last six months we have moved into action by beginning to live out the vision set before us. Your faithful support at year-end and into 2017 matters. By partnering together who knows exactly where God will take us! One thing is for sure it will be exciting and filled with stories that will have an eternal legacy!
