Deeper Dive:
- What’s your favorite story to tell? Why do you like it so much?
- One challenge most Christians when it comes to sharing their faith story is that they don’t really know people who are not believers. Do you find that you spend most of your time with Christians or those who are not? Explain.
- Is there anything keeping you from getting involved and building relationships with people who are not believers? If so, what are they?
- Knowing the gospel is one part of the evangelism equation. The second part is sharing it. What challenges have you faced, or do you think you will face in sharing your story.
- Read Acts 26:12-23. Paul gives a summary of his life before and after Jesus. What stands out to you in this passage? What stands out to you the most about your own life before Jesus and after meeting Jesus?
- This weekend we looked at how we can share our faith through our stories in two steps: telling our before and after Jesus stories, and being intentional about suggesting how they can receive the gospel. Would any two people in the group be willing to demonstrate how they might use these steps to share their story?
- Last week you identified people within your circle of influence you could share your faith with. This week share your plan toward building that relationship. Your plan might be to invite that person to coffee or simply call or send an email. Would you commit to taking that step in the next week and ask the group to keep you accountable?
