Christmas Upside Down

Have you ever had an “upside down” moment? A moment when the happenings of an event was the opposite of your expectations? And, as a result, it felt like everything was upside down?

Life is filled with “upside down” moments. Sometimes they are small, like when we go to our favorite restaurant expecting our favorite meal only to find they’ve changed the menu. Sometimes they are big, a marriage ends, a loved one passes away, a dream dies.

Oftentimes, especially in the big “upside down” moments, I believe God is at work. He often works through those “upside down” moments to get our attention and tell us something about himself or his plans for our lives. Throughout December, we are looking at how through the first Christmas God turned a lot of lives “upside down” and how we still experience the effects of that moment today.

On Christmas Eve (at 2p, 4p, 6p) we will look at one of the biggest “upside down” moments the world has ever known. The moment God entered into our world as a baby, to establish a new kingdom and set the world back to rights. Come and join us! There’s a place for you, your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors (and anyone else you know).

Let’s discover how a single event, over two thousand years ago, is still changing and radically impacting our lives today.

Grace and Peace, Josh Zoerhof
