Day of Hope – 2024

“So many people don’t know how hard it’s been this year…”

A few nights ago, I sat at my table listening to some teachers share about the struggles of school year. It was heartbreaking. So many of the educational workers in West Michigan are feeling the fatigue of a rise in behavioral issues in the classroom. Amongst educators, burnout rates continue to rise. Teachers are hurting and struggling. As a therapist, pastor, and husband to a teacher – I often wonder, “What more can be done?”

As a Family of Churches – Cultivate, Third Coast, and Ridge Point continue to lean into supporting our teachers and educational staff in the West Michigan areas. Every year, we host a one day event that celebrates and encourages educators. We call this event “Day of Hope!” Over the last five years we’ve welcomed hundreds of teachers, administrators, and educational staff through our doors. We are delighted and honored to do that once again.

This year we are focusing Day of Hope to address behavioral concerns and burnout. We have invited experts in behavioral needs and emotional wellness to join us for the day. We are praying that the teachers that create the foundation of learning for our communities feel blessed, seen, encouraged, and loved. Would you join us in our effort?

Would you join us in inviting teachers and school workers to the day? We are also inviting volunteers to help us prepare breakfast, serve, make signs, welcome, and show and share the love of Jesus to our school workers on the morning of March 2!

You can get registration information to Day of Hope here!

You can sign up to volunteer here!

Would you also join us in prayer for Day of Hope and for our teachers and school workers who give so much for the children of our communities?

Grace and Peace,
