New Year, New Opportunities for Community

As we begin 2020 we can’t help but think about resolutions for the New Year. For some, that means some kind of physical or emotional health plan. For others, it means starting new relationships or reviving old ones. Regardless of what your list may include I invite you to add one: spiritual growth.

Now, this may seem like an obvious goal, but many of us will admit that we lose steam for Bible reading and prayer rather quickly. Perhaps it is because we lack a critical ingredient for spiritual growth: community. The best way to grow spiritually is in relationship with other believers. You may be new or you may have been living in the same community surrounded by the same circle of friends for many years. Yet, there is still more to be discovered when we intentionally lean into the relationships we already have or step into new relationships. So, here is the challenge. How about intentional looking for newer and deeper dimensions of relationships in our groups or deliberately stepping into new (and perhaps uncomfortable) relationships that will yield greater spiritual growth?

We have the perfect tools to help you do just that. Here are some to explore:

  1. The Rooted Experience: 10-weeks of spiritual formation designed to connect you with God, the church, and your purpose in unexpected and life-changing ways. This is for you if you are new to the church or you’ve never done Rooted. Find out more about Rooted here.
  2. The Fearless Living Study: A 7-week group study on what it means to be part of a faith family, grow as a disciple of Jesus and be on mission. This is for you if you are already in a life group. Find out more about Groups here.
  3. In Training: Get into a discipleship relationship and partner with someone who can help you grow as a Fearless Follower. Or if you are ready to walk with another person, this is a perfect opportunity to get started! Find out more about In Training here.

If Interested in any of these opportunities, please email us and we will get you started right away.
