[learn_more caption=”November 1: Col. 1:3-6″]

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people—the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.

 [/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 2: Col. 1:15-20″]

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,  and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 3: Col. 2:5-10″]

For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is. So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form,  and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 4: Col. 2:11-15″]

In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead. When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 5: Col. 2:16-20″]

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow. Since you died with Christ to the elemental spiritual forces of this world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its rules…

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 6: Col. 3:1-5″]

Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 7: Col. 3.6-10″]

Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 8: Col. 3.11-15″]

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 9: Col. 3:16-17″]

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 10: Ps. 7:17″] I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 11: Ps 9:1-2″] I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 12: Ps.18:46, 49″] The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior! Therefore I will praise you among the nations, O Lord; I will sing praises to your name.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 13: Ps. 30:4-5″] Sing to the Lord, you saints of his; praise his holy name. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 14: Ps. 30:11-12″] You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 15: Ps. 31:19″] How great is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you, which you bestow in the sight of men on those who take refuge in you.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 16: Ps. 33: 1-3″] Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise him. Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 17: Ps. 40: 1-3″] I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 18: Ps. 47: 1-2″] Clap your hands, all you nations; Shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 19: Ps. 52:9″] I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 20: Ps. 59:16-17″] But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 21: Ps. 66:1-2, 5″] Shout with joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious! Comes and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man’s behalf!

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 22: Ps. 75:1″] We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 23: Ps. 89:1″] I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 24: Ps. 92:4-5″] For you make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; I sing for joy at the works of your hands. How great are your works, O Lord, how profound your thoughts!

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 25: Ps. 100:1-3″] Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. Is it he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 26: Ps. 106:1-2″] Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord or fully declare his praise?

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 27: Ps. 115:1″] Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to your name be the glory, because of your love and faithfulness.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 28: Ps. 116:1-2″] I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 29: Ps. 118:21″] I will give thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.

[/learn_more][learn_more caption=”November 30: Ps. 147:1, 7″] Praise the Lord. How good is it to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him! Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make music to our God on the harp.”[/learn_more]
