Over 25 graduates celebrated on Milestone Sunday!

I remember when I graduated high school. It was a massive moment of realizing all the hard work I put into my schooling and a surreal time of reflecting on what I had gone through to get to that point.

I’ve hit many other milestones that I still look back on and say, “Remember when…?” Becoming a Jesus follower, graduating college, getting married, getting my first career job, the days my children were born… The list goes on…

Milestones are significant moments that mark our growth, achievements, and transition into new phases.

They remind us of how far we’ve come and the potential that lies ahead.

In the Fearless Family of Churches, we celebrate milestones from Child dedication to graduation.

This past Sunday, we celebrated over 25 seniors as they started a new chapter in life.

Milestone Sunday is a powerful acknowledgment of their accomplishments and hard work that brought them to this point. It’s a time to reflect on the past, appreciate the present, and embrace the future with open arms.

In Deuteronomy 6, Moses reminds the Israelites to be faithful to God as they embark on a new journey in the promised land and to pass on their faith to their children and grandchildren. It was a milestone for them as they had been waiting for this moment for so long! The call to be faithful and pass on your faith is just as essential today as it was then.

Being Faithful is sticking with it, even when it’s hard!

We achieve a faith that is caught and not taught when we’re intentional with our time. We must live out our life with dedication, devotion, and intentionality.

So what will you do today to be intentional in your faith? and who are you passing your faith off to?
