Pancake Fundraiser

A few weeks ago, we had our pancake breakfast to support our 14 students that will be heading to Guatemala on July 16-24. Our students did an amazing job serving our church well and they had a blast doing it. Thank you so much to all who were able to come and support these students from our churches. Through the pancake breakfast, our students were able to raise $5,000, which works out to over $400 for each student for their trip!

In Guatemala, we will be partnering with Paradise Bound Ministries, who have been there for over 20 years. Through their connection in the community, we will be able to assist in running a medical clinic, VBS for kids in one of the villages, and also building homes for our adopted village in Cambacol. We are in year 4 out of a 10 year partnership with the village of Cambacol. On this trip, we get to celebrate a milestone moment in our partnership. We have been able to financially help this village build their very own church building! We have the opportunity to help dedicate this church, so please be praying for this community as God is moving in big ways in Cambacol.

If you’ve ever been on a mission trip, you know that it changes you. Most of our students have not been on this trip before, and we get to have significant spiritual conversations with the community and with each other. God is going to stretch our students and move in their lives in ways that will change them forever. Please be praying for them as they take this step to reach others with the hope of the Gospel and restore hope to the beautiful village of Cambacol.
