Every child who goes through a Fearless family ministry would leave with a growing relationship with Jesus, have connection – through authentic – community with their peers and leaders and be passionate about fearlessly making Jesus known.
Start children off on the right path, and even when they are old, they will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6
Did you know that you have around 936 weeks between your child’s birth and high school graduation to have an impact on their spiritual formation? For some of you it seems so far off while others read this and are sweating because it’s a few months away! Family Ministries has created a spiritual pathway so we can partner with you, from birth to High School graduation as you raise your child to follow Jesus and fearlessly make him known.
New Baby – Two Year Olds
Babies want to know, “am I safe”, and your one-year-old and two-year-old wants to know, “am I able”. As your child moves from the phase of “I need you now”, to “I can do it”, your role is to embrace your child’s physical needs to establish physical trust.
We partner with you and provide a safe and loving community for your child that holds your infant a community that encourages your toddler to explore with new friends.
Three & Four Years Old
A three or Four -year-old wants to know, “Am I okay?” This is a phase when anything can be imagined, everything can be a game, and curious preschoolers want to know “why?”
In partnership with families, we begin using creative and interactive teaching methods with each bible story.
Kindergarten – 4th Grade
Kindergartners and 1st graders want to know,” do I have your attention?”, 2nd graders move toward the question, “do I have what it takes?” and 3rd graders are learning to compare and compete, while 4th graders wonder “do I have a best friend?”
In partnership with families, we use all these phases as a springboard for interactive bible stories, learning monthly memory verses and teaching the gospel story in pictures and words so they can retell it to anyone. We providing opportunities to reach out in missions to the community and the world.
Middle School (5th – 8th Grade)
Your student is moving from thinking mom/dad know it all, to believing they know best. That what they feel in the moment is the most important thing in the world.
We want to partner with you in these moments, when they are wrestling with their identity, and unsure what the future holds. We want your student to know their identity is in Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:9)
High School (9th – 12th Grade)
Your high school student is starting to understand where they are and wonder where they fit in this home, school, or world and what they are supposed to do now.
We want to partner with you as they start making decisions that will dictate what the next few years of their life look like. It’s a big deal!! We want your student to know that no matter where they go, they can go with the confidence that God is with them (Joshua 1:9)
