PHP Food Pantry is Open – Bringing Love & Dignity to our Community

For years our churches have been dedicated to serving the Pullman community, partnering with People Helping People to bring hope and restoration to countless lives. The after-school resource, The Linking Centre, has been a beloved resource for kids in the area; our church plant with Mike Jones has continued to touch lives with the transformative hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus.

But last Saturday marked a significant milestone in our efforts to serve: the long-awaited opening of the PHP Food Pantry. Thanks to the generous financial support and hundreds of volunteer hours from our community, People Helping People is now able to offer a store-style shopping experience that provides not just food but also in-house laundry and personal care facilities for those in need.

Nothing communicates love quite like respect and dignity in the most personal and essential areas of our lives. By providing a space that is warm, welcoming, and worthy of their time and attention, we hope to communicate a message of hope and respect to each and every person who comes through our doors.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the tireless support of our partners at People Helping People. Their dedication to serving the Pullman community is truly inspiring, and we are honored to help them in their mission.

We’re so excited to see how the new food pantry shows God’s love to Pullman and the surrounding community!
