The Life of A Jesus Follower

Therefore, go and make disciples of all…, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age. ~Matthew 28:19-20

We’ve been hearing from Pastor Kevin and Josh that if we believe in Jesus as our Lord, we are a child of God. That is our identity. We are free to live as He did. Wow!  High fives all around!

So, here are some questions: Are you breathing? Are you in school? Are you single? Are you a husband or a wife? Do you work? Do you travel? Do have fun?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, I have one more question.  Does your relationship with Jesus affect how you do any of those?

Jesus and His followers did life noticeably different “while they were on their way.”  We have been given the opportunity to do the same. This is NOT a program. This is the life of a Jesus follower; just living in a way that is transparent and beneficial in our communities.  Remember, He makes all things new!

So, are we making disciples?  They are waiting for you, whether they know it or not! Please begin your day asking God what He might have in mind for you.  We GET to do this!

Run the race,

Mick
