The Backyard Summer Concert Series at Ridge Point Community Church brings local, regional, and national bands along with amazing food truck vendors from the area together. The summer night concerts embody everything worth celebrating in the Holland/Zeeland area.

Jun 7 - Soul Syndicate

The Soul Syndicate pays tribute to the most influential Funk, Soul, and R&B artists of our time – with a sophisticated look, masterful musicianship, and a crowd-pleasing act designed for Weddings, Corporate Events, and the Festival Stage. The group delivers an experience that will keep the audience dancing all night long, with a dedicated horn section and male/female vocalists, the group masterfully combines the best, classic dance music into multi—song medleys.

Aug 2 - Andrew Ripp - Christian Music Recording Artist

Andrew Ripp is an American singer-songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Andrew first broke into the national music scene as a songwriter.  In 2020, Ripp was nominated for a Grammy Award. Check his music out here.

Aug 16 - Sail On-Beach Boys cover band

We get around! At over 80 shows a year, Sail On is the most booked Beach Boys Tribute in the world!
Sail On plays all of the Beach Boys’ classic hits, plus some treasures from the band’s brilliant extended catalog, recreating the soundtrack to an Endless Summer completely live and in rich detail. Check their music out here

Aug 30 - Great Scott

Great Scott is the perfect band for any event looking to have guests up on their feet, dancing and singing along to the greatest songs from the 1950’s to the new hits of today. The band’s ability to read a room full of people and play the best song at the perfect time makes them stand out against other cover bands. With line up options varying from solo keyboard to a full 6-piece band featuring keyboards, guitars, bass, drums, and saxophone, Great Scott can suit any budget, and can entertain in intimate settings, as well as large venues capable of hosting hundreds of guests.

WHAT TIME DO THE DOORS OPEN?

Cars will be let in beginning at 5:30. Food trucks will be available at that time.  Concert will begin at 6:30.

ARE SEATS RESERVED?

All seating is on a first come, first serve basis.  Cars will be allowed to enter the parking area beginning at 5:30 pm on the day of the concert.

WHAT CAN I BRING WITH ME?

Lawn chairs, blankets (please be respectful and only take enough room for seating), cameras, strollers/car seats.

WHAT CAN’T I BRING WITH ME?

Alcohol, our license does not allow any alcohol to be brought onto the property by our guests. All outside alcoholic beverages will be confiscated if found on site. There will be a beer and wine tent on site for your enjoyment. Please also no pets or coolers larger than a small carry in (all coolers are subject to security searches).  Smoking is not allowed on the property.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Absolutely! Children must be supervised at all times. Children under 10 years old do not require a ticket.  We have two different play areas available.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The morning of each concert a decision will be made, if there is inclement weather, to move inside.  Concerts will go on rain or shine.  Food trucks and beverages will be available no matter the weather.

MAY I BRING IN FOOD?

Feel free to bring in a small cooler from home with food to enjoy during the concert.  No alcohol may be brought in.  We will have a variety of affordable and delicious food truck options for your dining and a way to support our local businesses. 

CAN I USE A CREDIT CARD FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGES?

WHAT BEVERAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE?

Students Ministry, from Ridge Point, will be selling bottled water and pop as a fundraiser for missions.  There will also be a beer and wine tent for you to enjoy.
