Hi Fearless Family,
It’s Lead Pastor Anthony Cozzello. I’m writing this on the one-month anniversary of joining the Fearless Family team and officially stepping into my role as the Lead Pastor of Cultivate Community Church.
I want to recognize and celebrate how welcoming and warm our first month has been. It speaks so highly of the community God is building in our family of churches.
On Sunday, October 29, the first Sunday our family attended Cultivate, we were greeted with a “welcome Cozzello’s” sign in the lobby, and everyone wore name tags to help us acclimate to this new community. Even as the new guy, I feel my opinion is highly valued in every setting. The Cultivate staff has embraced me so quickly as a leader, and I feel like the level of trust we’re building is so strong and quickly growing. In meetings with all of our fearless staff, I’ve been so encouraged by the questions that people have asked me about my life, our family, and our faith journey, reiterating the heart of our churches to be communities that welcome and care for people.
We are so thankful to be part of the Fearless Family of Churches, and we hope to continue to build on this culture of welcoming, belonging, and acceptance, especially for those currently outside the church. We hope that we make on the culture of being a family of churches where you can belong before you believe and feel welcomed as a newbie or even an outsider.
